Waikato Diocesan School for Girls
How Wavie helps Waikato Diocesan School for Girls care for students
Waikato Diocesan School for Girls is a prestigious school for girls located in New Zealand. The school caters for day and boarding students in Years 9 to 13. The school was founded in 1928 and maintains its special Anglican character and strong boarding heritage.
"This year, we have implemented Wavie across all year levels. We use it as a tool to make it easy for students to select a staff member to check in with them if they need support. We also use Wavie to survey students, so we can get a sense of the wellbeing culture in the school. It has been a very easy system to use and the staff at Wavie have been very helpful and quick to respond to any queries"

Introducing Wavie
Using Wavie not only are staff able to monitor how students are doing, but the system provides them with a proactive tool students can use to seek help via the weekly check-in.
The start
With WDSG we first went through student trials to set up the system to configure it exactly for their needs. This means going through all the settings and providing feedback on what we can do to maximise student support systems and really boost school well-being. We're big on providing support and being with schools every step of the way to help with every aspect.
